Giraffe
Giraffes are herbivores that live in the African Savannas. They are the world's tallest mammal, being able to grow up to 6 meters. They have very long legs and necks. A giraffe's legs alone can be taller than most humans (about 1.8 meters). Their long legs allow them to run 56 kilometers per hour.
Giraffes have a lifespan of 25 years and can also weigh up to 1270 kg. They travel in groups of six in the savannas. They use their height to feed themselves from tall leaves in trees. A giraffe's tongue is also long! They are around 50 centimeters long, which also helps them grab their food.
Giraffes et hound reds of pounds of food each week and need to travel long distances to get them. Giraffes only need to drink water every few days, luckily, because it is hard for them to bend to drink from a water hole.
